Commercial Property Lawyer (3 years PQE)
Are you an entrepreneurial and outgoing Commercial Property Solicitor or Barrister, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer on the lookout for a new role?
There has never been a more exciting time to join Pure Business Law. Due to an influx of new instructions, we are seeking an ambitious Commercial Property Fee Earner to join our growing modern office team in Bedford on a full-time basis and handle some of the wide range of work that comes into our rapidly growing, successful , Commercial Property Team. We require someone with ideally up to two years proven experience in Commercial Property with a client focused mindset who can hit the ground running with a busy caseload of commercial and on occasion residential matters. You will be able to demonstrate a strong intellect, evidenced with a high level of technical experience and be someone who has initiative, drive and excellent client management skills. You must be comfortable dealing with Commercial property transactions from start to finish with minimal supervision.
This is an ideal role for a junior to mid-level commercial property lawyer who is looking for the chance to really stand out, position themselves for a successful and prosperous career in property and be instrumental in the growth of our existing Property team.
You will be working with Landlords and Tenants, Managing agents, Property investors, Developers, SMEs and Financial Institutions and provide supervision and support to our paralegals and junior team members.

The successful candidate should be able to handle a mixed caseload, including but not limited to:
Commercial property sales and purchases.
Commercial Leases and Licences.
Landlord and Tenant matters including new leases; renewals, assignments and subletting; creation, release and variation of easements and covenants including restrictive and positive covenants.
Sale of business assets and purchases (including liaising with our employment team).
Loans and secured lending.
Drafting and negotiating commercial property documents.
Achieving agreed fee earning and caseload targets as set by the Firm.
Participating in business generation activities including identifying and attending appropriate networking opportunities.
Providing high quality advice to a full range of clientele from high street shops to SMEs.
Undertaking any other reasonable duties from time to time allocated to the role.
Results-driven, keen to progress and hungry to expand expertise.
Exceptional communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, both verbal and written with excellent interpersonal skills.
Great attention to detail and an ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with clients and third parties.
An aptitude for business development.
Excellent drafting and communication skills.
Accurate time recording and billing skills.
An understanding of and commitment to our Company values (WHAM).
Willingness to guide and mentor colleagues when required.
Good team player skills but self-motivated and able to work autonomously and pro-actively. We would expect you to play an active role within the team and support other team members during busy times.
Good IT skills.
Able to deliver against short deadlines accurately with a proven ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
Excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills. We would expect you to demonstrate an understanding and awareness of good financial health, working capital and regular billing.

Salary: The salary on offer is negotiable and dependent on experience (DOE). Candidates are invited to discuss their requirement upon application.
