From a clear idea to a specialist business practice
2016 - Why I founded Pure Business Law
In 2016, while working as a solicitor in-house in London and living in Bedford, I identified a gap in the market for accessible, high-quality and commercially focused legal advice for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
I founded Pure Business Law with the aim of bringing experienced commercial legal advice closer to the businesses that needed it. The firm was incorporated on 1 October 2016.
Growing with our clients
As our clients grew, so did the nature and scale of the work we undertook with them. What began with advising entrepreneurs and SMEs developed into supporting growing and established businesses with increasingly complex transactions, contracts, projects and disputes.
We have particular experience in construction, advanced manufacturing, technology and electronics manufacturing services (EMS), including advising businesses operating across complex and international supply chains.
Today
Today, we advise SMEs, growing businesses and established companies across the East of England, the wider UK and beyond on corporate and commercial law, construction, manufacturing and supply chains, contracts, employment, property and disputes.
The business has evolved considerably since 2016, but we have deliberately retained its personal approach. Clients know who they are dealing with, and receive advice shaped around their particular commercial objectives.
Looking ahead
As businesses navigate changing technology, regulation, international markets and increasingly complex supply chains, I continue to develop our practice alongside the clients we advise.
